Le Wand Crystal Wand - Black Obsidian

The Le Wand Crystal Wand - Black Obsidian is a hand-moulded wand of black obsidian that you can use for internal and external stimulation as well as for body massage. The shaft is broad and tapers to a slimmer tip, designed to make insertion easy. It measures 17.8 cm in total length and weighs around 366 g. It comes with a silicone ring for added external stimulation and a 94-page hardback guide on how to use this type of toy.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

It suits you if you're after a stone toy with no motor or battery, some real weight in your hand and a slim tip that slips in without any effort. It works just as well solo as with a partner, and equally for a relaxing massage or a more sensual moment. If you've never used an obsidian toy before, the 94-page guide in the box shows you how to get the most out of it.

If you need an exact piece, bear in mind that it is hand-moulded, so weight, size and colour vary from one unit to the next.

How to use it and look after it

1. Start with the slimmest tip for internal stimulation and save the broader shaft for later.
2. Slip on the silicone ring that's included when you want external stimulation at the same time as internal.
3. For a massage, glide the wand over your body and let its weight do the work.

Compatibility

• Material: The wand is made of obsidian with no other materials; the ring that comes with it is silicone.

General tips

Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.

• Start at the lowest intensity and work up gradually: that way you'll find the rhythm you like sooner.
• Keep it clean and dry, away from heat and sunlight, in a fabric pouch or its box and apart from other toys: some materials react when they touch and become stained or misshapen.
• If you share it, wash it between one person and the next, or cover it with a new condom for each person.
• Hand-wash it in cold or lukewarm water with mild soap, without wringing it, and dry it flat, away from the sun and the tumble dryer.
• Wash it before wearing it for the first time.
